Dr. Khawer Naveed Siddiqui

MBBS, MD, MRCP (UK), FACC, FESC, FRCP (Edin)

Consultant and Head, Department of Preventive Cardiology at B M Birla Heart Research Centre, Kolkata, Dr. K N Siddiqui has established himself as a leader in preventive and rehabilitative cardiology. As President of Heart Friends Around the World (2014–2020), he pioneered global collaboration in cardiac prevention and rehabilitation, uniting specialists and communities in the cause of heart health awareness.

Dr. K N Siddiqui’s longstanding association with the World Heart Federation reflects his stature in international cardiology. He was honoured as “Member of the Month” in March 2016 by World Heart Federation and has served as invited faculty and chairperson at several World Heart Federation Global Summit.

An Ex-Consultant Cardiologist at King Fahad Cardiac Centre and Hospital, Al Baha, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, at present he holds the position of "President, Heart Friends Around the World, Indian Affiliated Chapter".

He is a Visiting Professor at the National Institute of Cardiology and Cardiovascular Surgery, Havana University of Medical Sciences, Cuba. Currently he also serves as Board Member, General Council, Fundación Sanitus, Porto, Portugal, and Editorial Board Member, Cuban Journal of Cardiology and Cardiovascular Surgery.
